Cleansing & Charging

Most crystal collectors have their preferred way of cleansing and charging their crystals. So I’ll provide my go to methods for both.

Cleansing: 

I smoke cleanse my crystals when they first arrive by burning sage, palo santo, or Copal resin. I run them through the smoke for 30 seconds and ask that all negative energies and programming be removed. If smoke isn’t an option, you can soak your crystal in salt water. BE SURE that your crystal can handle this kind of cleansing. Some crystal will disintegrate or can be damaged by water. 

Charging: 

My favorite method of charging is with Reiki energy. For most people they charge their crystals under a full or new moon. I do this about 3 times a year. Otherwise I use Selenite plates, bowls, and towers to keep my crystals charged as seen in the picture. Selenite is one of the few crystals that can cleanse and charge other crystals.  Selenite bowls, plates, and towers will be available to purchase in the near future.
